The short version: we collect the minimum needed to send you your verdict — a repository URL and your email address. We never sell your email. We never share it with advertisers. We never add you to a mailing list without your explicit click.
1. What we collect, and why
- Repository URL — the public repo you ask us to test. That is the job itself.
- Email address — used to deliver your verdict, plus our own order bookkeeping (see §4). We do not use it for marketing unless you separately opt in (below).
- Basic request metadata (IP-based rate-limit counters, timestamps) — used only for abuse and spam prevention, kept minimal.
- Payment details — handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store card numbers.
We do not use advertising trackers, analytics cookies, or fingerprinting on this site.
2. What we never do
- We never sell your email or any personal data — to anyone, for any price.
- We never share your data with advertisers or data brokers.
- We never email you marketing without your explicit opt-in click.
3. The mailing list is opt-in only
Verdict emails may include a "keep me posted" button. Your address joins our updates list only if you click it — the link is cryptographically tied to your own address, so nobody can subscribe you. Every update includes an unsubscribe link that works immediately.
4. Who processes data for us
Each of these receives only what it needs to do its job, and none of them is permitted to use your data for their own purposes:
- Cloudflare — site hosting, the request queue, and email routing.
- Resend — sending your verdict email.
- Stripe — payments (they receive your card details; we never do).
- Google (Sheets) — our internal order log records your repo URL, email, and verdict so we can honor repeat requests, refunds, and quality tracking.
- Telegram — for a paid order, an operator alert containing your email is sent to the owner's private Telegram so a human can follow up or issue a refund.
We use no advertising, analytics, or data-broker services, and we send your data nowhere beyond the processors listed above.
5. Retention and your rights
Order records (repo URL + email + verdict) are kept so we can honor repeat requests, refunds, and our own quality tracking. Wherever you live — including under the EU/UK GDPR and California CCPA — you can ask us at any time to: see the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or export it. One email to report@nownessai.com does it; we answer within 30 days. If we ever experience a breach affecting your data, we will notify you without undue delay.
6. Where data lives
The service runs on Cloudflare's global network plus a research machine operated in the European Union. Your data is processed in the EU and by the processors listed in §4, protected by the safeguards above regardless of location.
7. Children
The service is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
8. Changes and contact
